So following instructions on boiling carts from various sources linked from here, I boiled 3 cartos, left them to sit overnight, and I filled them this morning with new juice. They don't produce vapor.
So I gather from searching many threads that they weren't thoroughly dry. They all worked fine prior to boiling; I was mostly trying to get rid of old flavors to try out some new ones from PinkSpot.
My question is, if I just wait a few hours/days/years
will the water evaporate and the cartos start working again? If not (and I am assuming they won't) will reboiling them and drying them longer/in the oven be worth the time/effort, or are they just toast?
I didn't buy blanks because I thought this process would be pretty darn easy, so I'm stuck with prefilled and can't enjoy my new juice!
And finally, I see everyone saying to spin the juice back out, so I'm assuming the residual water causing the problem doesn't somehow contaminate the juice, and that I should at least salvage the 1mL of juice that I put in each before throwing them away or reboiling, yeah?
I didn't think this was going to be complicated at all. ::sigh::
Thanks everyone!
