Boiling an atty?

I use 510t attys for testing juices. I got some Pluid because...well, I think it's the law that you have to try it or something. lol Yuck. After 3 soaks in pure grain alcohol I can still taste it. Usually one soak and the atty is good to go, no flavor left. This Pluid taste is very persistant.

I have never boiled an atty before, the 510t's do have wick. How would I go about this? I'm about ready to try anything.

I boil all of my attys, tanks, rbas, genny's, everything. just be sensible about it and you should be fine. move them around constantly, things like that. on a side note.....pm me about the pluid. I've been dying to try it, and if you don't want it anymore I'd be glad to buy ot off you

I have used cartos for years and a yup, boiling works!

PGA is only good if you get REAL PGA 200 or 191, the problem is most of it is 171 now, luckily here in TN you can get either 191 or 200, the 200 you have to go to the pharmacy for and it's a bit pricey because it's pharmaceutical...BURP (I have to stop drinking that stuff) LOL

So now you have my interest what the heck is Pluid?

Pluid is an anise flavored juice. Very good. Very strong.

Thanks guys! Sorry Mr. Miles, I sold it in the classifieds already. Vapingwatch is one of the (if not only) places that sell it. It's super strong black licorice/anise/absinthe tasting. My bro said it was like Sambuca. And it's GREEN. I'm not sure but it might even glow in the dark.

it's on my list of juices to purchase next - I just figured since you had it and didn't like it I'd pick it up

When I boil my stuff, I typically do two boils. if it's a new item and has machine oil or if it was logged with juice, I boil first for a few minutes, partially dry (just shake off / blow out some water), then boil once more to get the traces of stuff. I'm vaguely OCD about keeping things clean

I'll find the brand that's pretty cheap, and post it, but it's 191, and you'd be surprised what 10% more alchy can do!
(Or is that 5% too early for me)! LOL

It worked! I had to do it twice, the second time I grabbed it with tongs and kept scooping up boiling water and letting it run through the connection end, but I can't smell it or taste it anymore. Woohoo!

If you don't want to wait for water to boil just put some water in a coffee cup, then microwave the cup for a couple minutes. Works great

Lolz! Dude clearly you would insert the atty into the coffee cup after removing it from the microwave. I kinda figured that was obvious.

LOL Stars. I did get that. I tried doing that, the microwaved water(no atty in nuker), but believe it or not- it didn't make a difference. The smell and taste were still there. It was only continuous boiling that got rid of it. Crazy stuff that Pluid is!

I've used Flavor Eraser from Vixen Vapor. I wasn't expecting it to work, but it did. I haven't tried it with really strong juices though.
