Heya folks,

I'm new to vaping having just bought my first kit last week while in Montreal. I love it. If you live anywhere cold you can well imagine what a pain in the .... it is to have a cigarette at 2AM mid winter. Yesterday it was -15 C so I just used the e-cig and didn't go outside. Consider me sold. Anyway, new here and looking to learn a bit more about my new habit.

I have no idea what you just said. :)

LoL, the drip tip is the part you put in your mouth. A metal one could be like putting your tongue on a metal fence pole -- obviously a terrible idea during winter in Winnipeg.

Welcome to the forum Wanderglobe. There's a pretty good Canadian subforum on ECF, but you'll need to do 5 posts before you can put up messages anywhere but in the New Members forum.

FWIW I prefer plastic drip tips, though i wasn't thinking of outdoor winter vaping when I got a bunch of these.

Regards
Glenn

below freezing - trust me and dont use any type of metal drip tip, make sure its delrin or plastic. otherwise you may end up with your lips frozen to your e-cig

Welcome and congrats. Get your post count up to 5, then you can post in the Canada section, and there is a thread where you can request the list for Canada vendors that sell all the necessary supplies that you will ever need.

I've been reading up on Canada. I'm guessing we have some of the most restrictive laws in the world when it comes to e-cigs. The government just hasn't figured out how to handle the loss in tax revenue from tobacco when people start to quit smoking. They could give a rats ... about people's health.

Welcome fellow Winnipegger -- there is a good vape community in the 'Peg: Keep an eye on the Canada forum for announcements of Vapemeets, there is usually one a month (near the end of the month). I missed the last one, but hope to make the next.

cheers,
andrew

Thanks Andrew. Will certainly check it out. Look forward to meeting you and the rest of the crew.
