OK, I'm baffled and trying to figure out if the issues I'm having with this new pack of Bloog cartomizers is me or the product. The first carto in the pack I opened yesterday worked perfectly, but the three I've opened since taste burned instantly regardless of what type of fluid I used.. Pg/VG mixed or 100% PG.... the results are the same. I removed them after one or two hits, let them sit and tried them the following day~ same burnt taste. I have about 6 Bloog batteries, including the new one that came with the order that included the new box of cartos. I'm experienced enough to fill correctly (use the condom and Tartyn spin methods). What could be causing this?? Any info/advice would be appreciated. In the past all Bloog cartos worked great until I RUINED them as a newbie doing dumb things like under-filling. This is maybe my 3rd pack... or 4th? This product just doesn't seem the same to me. I still have 1 unopened carto... but I don't want to touch it. I'm scared that I'm doing something wrong and I don't want to ruin my last one. I've been using that first good carto since I got the package yesterday morning without any issues. *Update, opened and tried the ast one and it too worked perfectly. Hmmmm.......

Try and fill them by just removing the "dripper" cap and dripping into the filer while holding the carto at an angle.
Can't remember the last time I filled a carto with any other method (at least a Bloog carto).

Yep... I use the condom method.And yeah... I saw this video when I first bought my kit a while back (two months ago??). Of course I'm no expert, but filling cartos has become pretty easy fir me. It;s just odd that I filled all 5 the same way and 3 react so differently tha the the other two. I know getting a dud here and there is pretty normal, but 3 seems a bit excessive. But who knows, maybe I did something weird....no big deal, Just curios if anyone has had any similar issues, experiences. I'll boil them and see if I can start from scratch

Not really.
With this method you only soak the outer filer, and let the design work on it's own, taking the e-liquid to the coil through the wick.
Getting e-liquid in the central airflow tube usually degrades the performance/durability of the cartos - At least for me.

Over the past few months I get about 2-3 usable cartos per pack on average. I have the same issue with the burnt/chemical taste no matter how I fill them. I use menthol almost exclusively. However when I get one that works it lasts me a very long time. It stinks that I am effectively paying more than I should but the ones that work are so much better than anything else I have tried that I am willing to live with it for now.
One more thing I noticed is that the prefilled have a much lower "failure" rate for whatever reason. I thought maybe it was due to leaving them sit for a day or two before using after the first fill but that does not seem to make a major difference.

I've been using Bloog cartos for the past 6-7 months with no problems. I did have one morning where a newly filled Bloog carto tasted burnt. I then tried another Bloog as well as a leftover one from a brand I used to use and they tasted burnt also. It was then that I realized my taste buds were screwed up (probably from vaping too much the night before?).
I must be lucky because I've only had 2 out and out duds in the past year and they were both from another vendors.
