This script seems very powerful. Lot's of advanced features I'm
still learning my way around.

After about one month in the forum, I find myself looking for posts
I had previously viewed containing very helpful information... but
often cannot find them again.

If there is a 'bookmark' feature, I've not found it.

Might not be too difficult to program a feature similar to "my posts"
and call it "my bookmarks" on the same menu. Then add a button
on each thread to add it to your bookmarks.

It's actually called a subscription dragginfly. Click Thread Tools on the top of the thread (just above post #1 on the right) and the drop down will give you and option to subscribe to the thread. You can also create folders for different types of subscriptions IIRC, like a DIY folder and general help folder.

Edited to add; to access your subscriptions, go to your PMs and the link will be listed on the left under your PM folders.

If you want only a specific post in a thread, hit it's number in the upper right hand corner, then bookmark it with your browser. At that time add a bit to the name using some search able terms that make sense to you.

Let's say I'm in a mod thread and I get to an explanation of mosfets, I'll bookmark the post I want and add, mosfet, variable voltage, the posters name etc. to the name.

Say I'm searching for switches on Digi-Key I'll bookmark the one's I've found then add extra descriptive words, 2A, momentary, NO, small etc.

I use FireFox. I can now hit 'organize bookmarks', there is a search box now that I can enter the terms I've used.

Doh!

It's actually called a subscription dragginfly.

Looks like that will work. There's probably a way to turn off
notices of new posts without unsubscribing to a thread.

I'll spend some more time exploring features.

Thanks!

And another excellent tip I should use more often...

If you want only a specific post in a thread, hit it's number in the upper right hand corner, then bookmark it with your browser.

Thanks Willy.

I've bookmarked a couple in my browser already. Just need
some new bookmark folders to organize more links.

I was looking for a way to save them in the forum rather
than in my browser, but the browser option should also work
just fine.

Thanks for taking time to help me out!!
