Bookmarking

There is so much information here that I find and don't want to lose! This will seem like a crazy question but I am wondering how to bookmark either a thread or a post. Do you just bookmark it in your browser or is there a way to bookmark something in the forum?

<CTRL> + D keys to quickly bookmark a page. Also, a little more involved... I made a folder on the bookmark toolbar for ECF (I'm using firefox) and open threads in a new tab. If I want to save a thread I drag the tab to the folder on the bookmark toolbar.

Aahhh great idea about the bookmark in a bookmark file! I predominately use chrome and I think this will work. I can't try it out now because I'm on my hubby's mac book and if I bookmark things he will know my secret addiction to buying things online

Personally I find it far easier to use browser bookmarks than the ECF option to subscribe to threads. How you do it varies by browser. <CRTL>D works for most browsers to bookmark the page you are on. But if you want to actually find that super relevant post #238 out of 487 again in a really long thread, hover over the post # ECF assigned to it (in the bar at the top of the post, on the far right) - that will show a link to that specific post. Right click on the post # and you will get your "Bookmark This Link" option.
