It's a 1 aa flashlight running a 14500 batt a ti 4050 boost chip. Voltage rage is 4.0-5.6 volts.

Great Boomer, glad I can help out my fellow modders.
I don't know if you notice that lately there has been some 04050c bashing.
Sure there are much better regs, but they require more than a single battery.
The 04050c has it's place and with the right setup can be
quite satisfying unless you are like my friend here..........

Yeah there seems to be alot of ti chip bashing all around.But I really like what I'll getting out of them and when it comes to my mods size is a big factor so I use what fits.

The only down side the 04050C has is the 2.5A limit. Other than that, its perfect for a mod.

Very nice job boomer. I like it. Decent voltage range to boot. I'm not to keen on the color but I'll take the circuit board.

The 2.5A 12watt limit on the 04050 is over my normal vapage, so no problems here .

Look what big lots had today.The top 4 will be ti 4050 boosters the bottom 5 will be ti 8100 "ever cool" type. Now to get some trimmers and caps.

Nice! What size battery will the ones on the bottom take?

They take 10440's I use two just put two in there but using all three I gained like 4 more hours of battery time.
