I like to use high VG but my wicking is always inconsistent and will get dry hits every so often. I decided to bore out the channel on the rba section of my Delta II. So far no dry hits and no leaking. Just wanted to share.
This is a carbide tip on a Dremel. I did not want to use a cuttiing wheel because I did not want to jack up the o-ring on the underside of the rba. It has the right diameter, so I set the Dremel to low and pressed it into the channel.
FYI I would not recommend using a cutting wheel on this given its large diameter.
