Bottle affecting juice taste?

I always transfer my juice from 50ml bottles to 15ml bottles to avoid airing the whole 50ml out when refilling. The 15ml bottles are made of PE. For past few days I've been refilling directly from the original 50ml bottles and noticed that the flavor seems to taste better. Now, this could be my imagination or my taste buds just going stupid as most vapers can experience from day to day. But still I wonder if anyone else experienced something like this with bottles.

I've had one flavor darken and thicken in little 3ml travel bottles. Another flavor got to tasting very bad in one after being forgotten about. Both flavors were fine in the glass they came from.

I would prefer to use glass bottles but they're too hard to squeeze.

Brown or blue glass bottles with a dropper top is what I would use.
