Bottles vs. Vials

Just a quick tip for people getting into DIY; I spent forever searching for sample sized bottles for my test batches, and couldn't find anything for less than 50 cents each (which, when you want to have 5-10 going at a time, really adds up). Then I switched my search term to 'vial' and found 2 dram (about 6ml) vials on amazon for $2.50 a dozen, less than half of what cheap plastic bottles run.

They look nice, have decent plastic seals, and I assume they'll be better for multiple uses, not holding on to old flavors like plastic might.

I got all of my glass bottles on Amazon too.

After mixing for a while I wound up with many vials which are 8ml from flavors which I bought from WL. Glass vials that I now use for testing. Simple plastic caps which don't leak but putting them to use.

I keep all my little bottles from my flavors to reuse for little samples. The site from which I bought the flavors also sells droppers that fit the bottles and I purchased those for next to nothing (40 cents each) 1 dram is approximately 4ml's (1 fluid dram = 3.69669119531ml). With a dropper ya can't fill the bottle all the way to the top because of the displacement, I just use 3.5ml equation.
