i just bought my first bottom coil clearomizer (an ismoka 1.6). It currently has a 2.2 coil and im running it on an ego-c battery. ive noticed that it burns through my eliquid like crazy. i've filled it up 3 times within 24 hours. is this the norm for a bottom coil?
ive only used disposables so nothing else to base a comparison on. i seem to vape alot but with the disposables i only fill once a day. (i dont know what the "norm" is for people.) i like the bottom coil tho. its a much more crisp clean vape. i can only imagine what some of the top notch stuff can do!

Were your previous clearos bigger? Maybe you just have to fill more often because the tank is smaller on the ismoka. I only mention this because I tend to overlook the obvious
I've only owned Kanger bcc's. I'm a bit of a chain vaper, so I can go through several ml a week. My wife has 3 EVOD's and a iClear16. She doesn't vape as hard as me, but she does seem to have to top-off the EVOD's more often than the iClear.

Pretty much normal. You can use a lower wattage on Bottom coils it seems IMHO. FYI Most Ego's are made for 2.0 ohm and up. So be careful using the lower resistance ones. The reason they burn though juice (minus a leak) is they feed better than top feeds or cartos. IMO. Just know that on bottom feeds like yours and the Protank you will produce a lot more vapor per watt than top feeds. GENERALLY.
Three fills on a 1.6ml tank isn't bad at all, less than 5ml. When I was using attys and cartos I was going through about 3ml a day but with my ARO which is 3.5ml I'm filling three times a day for over 10ml but it's a lot better and more convenient vape too.

hi,
so what is a disposable ? you just mean a cartomizer ?
you said "vape alot" -- if your only filling a carto once a day that's sure not much
do you notice more vapor and more throat hit using the clearo ?
I would say your getting a more satisfying vape,
which means more fluid use... (a much more crisp clean vape)
could that be a true statement... ?

I've noticed the bottom feeders go through juice a lot quicker too. At first I thought I was just gobbling it up faster because I enjoy my juice more in them lol. For the vape they give though, I'm not complainin'.
Bottom coils always burnt faster for me as well. I really do prefer them over top coils, though. Try direct dripping, that might help you regulate a little better!
I go through about 5mL a day, give or take, using Kanger ProTank 2 bottom coils... So having to fill 3x on a 1.6mL tank sounds about normal to me... Top coils just don't wick as efficiently in my experience. If you're not getting any leaks, you can rest assured all that juice that's disappearing is coming out as vapor, and that's a good thing
