Hi,

I made my first mod with the tube going into the cart. Now I'm trying to make a bottom fed. I'm not sure if the needle ( or tube ) needs to stick out of the connector. I haven't decided which I plan on using yet, the thin teflon that fits into the connector or a needle. But reguards less, I wanted to know if they have to stick up out of the connector or can be cut down flush. ( afriend of mine has one with about 1/4 inch of a needle sticking out. She worries about breaking it out and can only use with a cartomizer.) Is that the way I need to go?

Thank you, marya:)

It depends.

Here's a WetBox (carto version?), a lot more than 1/4".

A good way to get it right is to take your atty and screw it into the connector. Take your tubing and slide it gently into the center hole until you feel a slight bit of resistance from the insides of the atty. Pull it just a touch back so it isn't putting any pressure on the coil. Epoxy that sucker in place and you have it set at exactly the right hight, just don't get any epoxy on your atty through the hole... for obvious reasons.

Remember to use a very gentle touch with this or you could mess up your atty.
