Ok so I have been vaping for about two years now, I no longer dip and have not had one since I started. I have used many different battery setups from the basic ego starter battery, twists, lava tube, ect. i now have a evic and a itaste mvp. I have gone away from the use of ce5's and dct's. I use on a regular basis a Kanger T3s or MT3s (same thing) and i have been doing a lot of research and have found the REO and the vapage vmod xl to spike my interest. I have not seen any bad review as far as the system leaking for any reason or the atty's they use to be a problem (vmod xl). I have never used a bottom feed system at all.

I was wondering who has switched over or who uses these systems and what pros and cons are?
How long does the atomizer usually last. I know they just updated the hybrid atty the sell for the vapage vmod.

Any information would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

I have owned both a vmod and Reos, I sold my vmod, the feeding system on a Reo is much easier to use, you can use any 510 carto, or atty on either, the Reo will also allow the use of a rebuildable atomizer (A lot of folks use the Reomizer, I use the A7 mini.)
The vmod uses a two piece design (plastic chassis, metal casing), the Reo,which is much more durable IMHO) uses an aluminum body, with sliding metal door (unless you get a woodville).
I feel the Reo is a better device overall, and its built to last a life time.

I haven't 'switched over' - my main vapes are eGo-c upgrade batts with Tabac BCC/Kanger T3/T3S clearos. However, I've used both devices. At first, the attys on the Vapage vmod 2 - the gold universal hybrid, was one of the best attys I've used, but the quality of those have imo, subsequently dropped - burning out earlier than the first ones I had which lasted for over 3 months.

I still have a reo mini in my rotation and really like it. The difference, as DJ points out, is the reo is better built and the vmod2 uses gravity for feeding, where you have to pump the bottle for the reo. And the pumping works better, imo. There can be some 'leak' problems with the reo IF you over pump. there is a well that retains overflow that will run back into the atty as used but if you've overfilled the well and turn the mod over it will leak. But this is something that as you use it, you'll not have any problems.

That said, the vmod isn't terrible and it works as long as you understand that occasionally you'll need to turn it upside down to stop dry hits. I like the design/feel in the hand of the vmod2 more. And while it has some plastic, it never broke and didn't seem flimsy in hand. And vapage will run 50% off sales from time to time and that is what made it worth a try for me. I had the smaller version not the XL and the mini instead of the grand in the reo.

With both, there are some attys that don't do well with bottom feeders - some internal wiring, etc. tend to block the flow. Joye 510, 306, ciscos hybrid and his regular attys and the vapage attys work well with both mods. The ciscos regular attys work best for me. Off brand 510's are a crap shoot, some work, some don't do as well.
