Hi all,

Im looking for a bottom feeding mod to get the best flavor out of the thick Boba's. I really like the Vmod by Vapage, small size and looks good. What do you guys think? I have the batteries and everything so i just want the bare mod. Do i just purchase the shell and cone?

I really dont want to be changing atomizers all the time, and i have seen someone modify the Vmod to be used with dripping RBAs. Is this difficult to do?

The bottom feeder it self doesn't correlate to vape quality. You could make a 20 dollar box mod that vapes the same as my reo. It's about what you put on it. I use a cisco spec 1.5ohm 306 atomizer, and hoping to get a rebuild able in soon to get a low ohm coil. There are also VV bottom feeders. Might like a wooden mod? Bogger box mods are good but you have to wait 5 weeks. Very durable mod? Reo's are awesome, they're unique, but can get pricey. Vapage? I mean its got the outer shell that is aluminum i think, but inside it's plastic. Still works well, a lot of people praise it. It's about how much are you willing to spend.

But you're on the right path for bobas bounty, I specifically got my reo to put bobas bounty in it because I was tired of it in a carto tank.

Good luck

Ex Vapage VMOD XL user here! Now Im not going to be bias, The VMOD XL isnt for everyone and yes, you have to turn it upside down to feed it, but it just becomes second nature eventually. The bottles eventually crack, as do all bottles but replacements are fairly easy to find.

I think the VMOD XL works best with the atomizer it comes with, the AMG hybrid bottom fed, which provides amazing flavour range and works very well with the vmods feeding system.

The main redeeming benefit of the Vmod is I never had mine leak untill I did 4 forceful squeezes upside down on the bottle, and I was only doing it for a review! In real vaping circumstances it is extremely hard to make a VMOD leak.

But if you want something indestrucible, Go for the Reo mods! :p

First let me point out that in fact, you don't have to turn it upside down to feed it!!! You only have to tilt it just past the vertical plane, (or slight angle). I myself, use the tilt, feed, & vape method as it is much easier to do. There are others that do as well and it does become second nature. Much the same as most people actually smoked an analog, in that when you bring it up to smoke it is pointing more in the air than towards the ground. As far as forceful squeezes on any bottom fed APV, you are just asking for failure!!! Yes, bottles cracking is part of that failure, that was created by "USER" error... As you thought the XL worked best with the Hybrid atty, I prefer a Cisco spec LR 306 atty, which I think is easier to feed and has better flavor, but we all know taste is subjective to each and every one of us...

I just pulled the trigger on a VV Bogger Box. Gosh Help me when my wife sees it.

The are running a special this weekend 15% off. I bought this one Variable voltage Bogger Box
Darned it I wrote the owner Marcus with a question and he answered it by the time I got back. So he gave me no excuse not to buy it.
It's my first foray into bottom feeding. I know the VV Reo Grande is the best, but I just had to have one with wood.

Also me and Paypal don't get along. Bogger accepts normal Visa through Authorize.net.

Bogger Box and REO were definitely not in my crosshairs right now...maybe I'll consider one of them in a few months, after I've saved a bit. But I had to bite on the Vapage deal for the XL Vmod kit...50% off spoke far more eloquently to my sensibilities and pocketbook. It'll be here today. I've never tried a bottom feeder, but have been curious for many many months. Even thought about getting one for Christmas...but the deal then was "buy one get one free". That was nice, but not what I really wanted. 50% off speaks to me. I'm really excited to get it today (I hope). Just have to figure out a way to 'splain it to hubby!

This way...I can try a bottom feeder that is at a reasonable price point for someone on a fixed income. If it turns out I really like the system...THEN I'll start saving up for a REO or some other high end version. Then again...I may be so content with the Vmod that I won't feel any need to upgrade. (yeah..like not wanting to "upgrade" is going to happen. When pigs fly...)

I think you done good. It's a conservative buy, good price point.

I'm just partial to VV and have been wanting a wood mod for years.!
I hope you are happy with it, come back on board and tell us how you like it after you've had it a week.

What Atomizer did you go with?
