like i said just looking for something a little more cheaper for now to see if bottom feeding is my thing thanks though!

Let me make this easy for you.

If you get a REO, and don't like, you can resell in the classies here, they last about 1 hour in the ads.

If you get something cheaper, you will probably be "out" almost all the money you spent on it.

Yeah it took a lot of time, and a lot of trial and error, I had very high standards but I also had unlimited toys in the shop to get it done, especially with the vdrop being so low. I built it BC nothing available could handle 0.2ohm all day long.

I would have made a batch for sale but I'm recovering from a broken neck so I really don't have it in me yet.

I will say that I use it everyday, at least 15ml per day and it's the siht! Makes my paps lux look like a piece of crap.

Ive been looking into getting a bottom feeder to try out i would like an inexspensive one for now just to see if its for me if it is my plan is to get a reo any suggestions or links you can provide would be great i think ill need a special made dripper for the whole deal too

I got a Vmod XL to try out bottom feeding with and it did the job for me. I now have a Reo Grand.

A few times a year Vapage have a half price sale and I got lucky enough to catch one of those. Honestly, I would not have paid $85 for one. I got a few extra bottles and other parts for it and I think with shipping it was around $75.

For that price it was a great intro into BF'ers for me. Had I tried it and immediately decided it was not for me I probably would have been able to get most of my money back in the classies.

It definitely does not perform like a Reo or a more Reo-like device. You have to turn it upside down to squonk, but I got used to that pretty quick and it's easy to mod that. Vapage doesn't sell any RDAs for it. They only sell a cartos and regular dripping attys. I modified a IGO-L to BF and used an O-ring and a 510-510 adapter to make it work. I'm not the only person who did this and there are a few threads here on how it's done.

Good luck with it.

Feeders are as good as it gets, if you get a crappy one you might be turned off altogether and miss out on the real pleasure of bottom feeders.

This ^^^ is so very true Tbev :thumb:

When I was using the Vmod I always kept its downsides in mind. It is certainly not as good a vape experience as the Reo and if someone doesn't understand that it could lead them way wrong. OTOH, if someone doesn't feel comfortable paying for a Reo right off the bat without trying something somewhat similar but less expensive first, they might just avoid BF'ers altogether.

I think putting all the information we can out there is the best way to go. People can make up their own minds from there and then it's on them to do what's right for them. Works for me :)

Thanks bud, I'm glad I communicated that the way I had thought about it in my head. BF'ing looked so practical, as opposed to dripping, but when I was looking the reo couldn't handle sub ohm builds and I had the resources to build my own and I'm glad I did I couldn't be happier.

In the last 2 weeks I've picked up two new paps lux ' s... They suck compared to my feeder.

I have the regular, 'old fashioned' Reo Grand. The maximum diameter RDA it takes is 14 mm I think. I have a RM2 from Reosmods and that's very nice with single coils. I really like dual coils though and while you can put two coils in the RM2 it gets really tight. I got a Cyclone about a month ago and modified it for bottom feeding.

Both have the the small air chambers that the 14 mm diameter limit imposes on them so they give very good flavor. The RM2 has a ceramic deck so if your coil touches it, it will not short. There are a bunch of other attys you can fit on it too.

If you want to use bigger RDAs I would recommend getting the LP (low profile) Reo. It allows regular sized RDAs to be put on it and Rob, who makes Reos, will be selling a bunch of these attys modded for bottom feeding soon. I believe there is a RM2 designed for the LP Reo also if you want to try that combination.

That's an awesome looking mod Tbev and I just know it performs awesome too :thumb:

You also built it yourself and I know nothing beats that kind of satisfaction.

Vape on :)
