Hello everyone, I bought an eGo at a local smoke shop (which I LOVE btw) but I do not know what type it is to buy my supplies ~ eek (and it doesn't say it on it) :(

How do I figure this out?!?

I found this picture on the web and it looks like this (you buy the cartomizer - which is disposable and you unscrew, and you fill it with the liquid) -- ideas???

Looks like non-variable voltage Ego 650mAh's. With CE4 clearomizers (non rebuildable).

Any 510 threaded or ego threaded stuff will work on them---which is almost everything these days. :).

Good that you got 2 batteries, and a charger. Now all you need is good ejuice!

You might want to try a variable voltage ego type device next (you can turn up the voltage to make a hotter vape, sometimes brings out the flavors, each flavor seems to like a certain voltage). Chances are you can use the same charger with an Ego Twist or Vision Spinner.

The picture is a 900 mah battery per ratio of charger, I just checked mine next to a charger it matches the picture.. 650mah is almost same size as the charger 900mah is an inch longer like the picture.. I have every ego except 450..

Just knowing you have an "ego" style battery tells you what supplies you can buy to fit it for the most part. Ego implies you have ego and 510 threading for the connection.

The picture you provided shows 2 each 900mAh batteries with generic Ce4 Clearomizers (which are ego threaded). Most clearomizers are ego threaded. Cartomizers are generally 510 threaded.

Hi and congrats on making the change! I'm a pretty new vaper myself, but my original set up looked much like yours other than I had Kanger Evods instead of the CE4s (do a search and you will find all sorts of info about both). The only problems I have run into came from over-tinkering, so my little bit of advice is take it slow and you will be fine!
Find a good juice that you like and sit back to read all the good info on this forum. Keep the juice filled up and your batteries charged - there ya go! Good luck (and if this slightly techno-challenged mom of 4 can manage this, trust me so can you. :) )

Hi VapHer, and welcome to the wonderful world of vaping...

Everyone has given you good and accurate information but has neglected to provide definitions on the terms they are using.

Please forgive me if you already know this:

The term "510 connection" refers to the small internal threading at the tip of the battery.
The term "eGo or ego connection" refers to the larger external threading located just above the switch.

There are devices out there that use these connections but only one at a time. Either connection type will work with your batteries.

What they all said above. A lot of people are very, very satisfied with this kind of set up and don't need to look further than a few extra clearomizers, some good liquid and a couple of back-up batteries.

Just be careful: you said your clearomizers were "disposable". You can rinse them in warm water or in vodka and reuse them until they give up the ghost. What you don't do with this kind is replace the heating coil. That's why they are not "rebuildable". You keep them as is.

Right - so you are lucky - you got yourself a sort of "industry standard" battery, and can get back-up batteries for it ANYWHERE, and can try out ALL KINDS of "juice delivery" attachments to screw on the top.

What you have that holds the juice are "clearomizers" - which you can replace (in fact, you'll HAVE to replace the guts of it at least, occasionally - the wick/coil part inside it wears out) with any number of different models.

Have fun exploring this site - you'll get TONS of information here.
Don't be surprised if shopping and trying new gizmos becomes a little bit of a hobby...

Thanks spider. I have the Vision Spinner and the eGo Twist and have beem wondering what these terms meant.
