I got my first rda recently so I thought I'd share my experiences (fasttech nemesis and patriot)
I live in Asia, in a country that banned ecigs. Fortunately fasttech will ship regardless, but this means the only liquids I've got are hangsen and one bottle of liqua (from back when they had this.) and since I had a mini protank before, I've got 16mg and 18mg strength.
I first tried a dual coil it came with, and that was an unpleasant effect with 18mg, so I've settled on single coils. I use 28 guage kanthal from singapore (Kampong Shop vape shop that doesnt sell nicotine or atomisers) and ordinary cotton wool as a wick.
The main reason I got an rda was I don't want to keep buying coils, and in general I am quite happy with it. The flavor is slightly improved by not being tainted with silica wicks. However, on youtube the strange bearded men who review atomizers seem to enjoy the experience a lot more than I do; they go on about amazing flavours I just don't get at all. Is this because they are stoned, or is it the cheap liquids I've got?
I could try lower strength fasttech liquids and dual coils. The other thing I could try is diy by ordering VG and Perfumer's Apprentice flavor from Kampong Shop, but this is relatively expensive and without nicotine.
Is the pursuit of amazing vapour flavors really worth it? And are their any good chinese suppliers of eliquid? Or just settle for hangsen Marlboro red?
