Well I finally broke down and bought an original Phoenix and an hh357.
The 357 rocks well worth the 24 bucks inmo.

I noticed right off the bat with the Phoenix I was getting a horrible burn taste constantly, probably due to the factory tight wraps and thin wick material.

So this morning I wrapped my first coil, after watching a quick you tube and all in all took around 5 mins..

Wow what a great tastey vape and vapor..

Came out at 2.2 ohm. Is this pretty standard with the Phoenix as I don't think I could put more than 5 wraps on..

I don't think so but do as you wish :p I think your hemp is releasing a byproduct :p just kidding.
I don't think SS would be releasing a byproduct and I wouldn't be too afraid even if it were.
I grill with the flames coming out of stainless steel, our atomizers are made of steel, hell, the coil is steel :p

I'd rather vape stainless steel than fiberglass... sheesh. who thought of fiberglass as a good thread that people would potentially be inhaling on occasion??? lol. I've gotten lung fulls of that damn fiberglass wich before and I DONT like it but its probably happened to me over 10 times.. and I heard that getting ONE lung full of a newport cigarette's fiberglass filter was potentially deadly? Here we have thousands of people inhaling burnt fiberglass on a weekly basis with vaping? yikes. I'll take stainless steel over fiber glass anything any day. Yikes.
