I'm with you, my E-Power is supposed to arrive tomorrow, it better. My Joye Stick stopping working, only one of my 801 batteries will charge, only one of the 801 atomizers will work. But I think I have enough e-liquid to float a small boat. If worse comes to worse I think I can take one of the burners on the stove and get some kind of vapor producing option going.

the volt is a good system. I have a much bigger go-go system but still find myself using the volt when possible. but I tend to chain vape all day long and needed more battery and volume than a volt could provide. heh, I'd go through four batteries and cartos a day on the volt.

I actually like the taste and convenience of the volt better but the larger systems, go-go, ego, igo, etc. provide longer times between refresh.

It depends. If you don't vape heavily a carto can last all day. If you do vape heavily, you might end up refilling it a couple of times.

Don't sweat it too much if you don't totally dump regular cigs the moment you get your PV. If you really want one, have one. After I got my PV, I still wanted a regular smoke at times for a few days. Right away in the morning and right before bed mainly. I didn't beat myself up over it and now I've been free of the analogues for 5 days now.

+1

Completely agree. You won't know how long a carto lasts until you start vaping, and see where you are with it. The nic level also makes a difference - you'll vape less with higher nic because it will satisfy your cravings, but too much nic and you'll start feeling like your heart is beating too fast or will get a slight headache. Listen to your body and be prepared to adjust your nic levels and how much you vape. Drink water!!!

I also agree on not beating yourself up if you have an analog. When I first started, I was smoking about 4 or 5 cigarettes a day, and tapered off to nothing over several weeks. I gave myself permission to smoke if I really felt I wanted to so that I didn't feel like I was depriving myself. Vaping took over - I didn't care about smoking anymore.

But if you run out of juice or you drop your battery in the toilet or your dog buries your charger in the back yard or whatever (you will quickly learn to buy backups of everything, and have backups for your backups!), and if you smoke then, it's not going to send you right back to 27 packs per day. Vaping doesn't work that way. If you take to vaping, cigarettes will actually stop being satisfying to you and having one will not make you want to start smoking again.

+1 to the morph presidents. No pressure.

And you don't have to finish your last pack, hang on to a few just in case. It's a good security blanket. Some folks freeze them! On the other hand, stock up on juice and keep backup equipment. I have two unopened packs from my last purchase, just sitting in the closet for months. Besides, in a biblical disaster, there'd be no electricity to charge the batts!

I got along fine for the first couple weeks with just the Volt starter kit. But one battery was dead in just about the time it took to charge the other. I used about a carto a day, maybe one and a half. 24mg juice. now i use 6-12 mg juice and vape all day.

A kr808 usb passthrough is a nice addition to the Volt kit. you can vape at home without using batteries.

good luck!! it is surprisingly easy to switch from cigs to vape.

Noob here. I have been reading the forums for about a month. Not trying to steal a thread but can anyone direct me to a current thread about not being able to quit the damn analogs?

I don't know where to direct you, but why don't you start one for yourself? That way you can ask specific questions that apply to you, and people can give guidance depending on what might be the problem...nic level, throat hit, vapor level, etc.
