Bought some Glycerin USP at the pharmacy...

I got it since, as far as I've read, VG = Glycerin(e) = Glycerol. But now I'm a little worried, would this be a bad thing to vape?

Only ever use Glycerin that states its Pharma grade.

Google the make of Glycerin, that often takes you to the manufacturers website, and you can then get a break down on its uses.

In the US, (and perhaps Canada) the USP designation is good for vaping. In the UK the 'for human consumption' designation is "BP" - British Pharmacopoeia standard.
