Bought the Protank 2 today... Did I get ripped off??

Well I took it in today after work, and they fixed the problem and just replaced it for me with a brand new one!! :D
... And paying $30 wasn't a big deal for me ($28 before tax), I don't mind helping out my local economy, and at the same time - getting my product faster than I would've online or if I waited, got a full explanation of how the product works, no problem returning it - great customer service!

He did take it back today and they gladly replaced it no questions asked Peterforpats!!

Glad they resolved it with no problems. It seems that most B&Ms aren't too high on the idea of refunds or exchanges. Most of them around here have signs plastered all over their stores that say "ALL SALES ARE FINAL - NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES". It's a piss-poor way to do business IMHO!!!

Yeah I really don't care that I paid an extra $10 (it was actually $27.90 before tax), since I got to get it sooner than if I would've gotten anywhere, and especially since their customer service was so great!! I have many vape-shops around here, and like HD said above, most of them are really horrible with returns/exchanges (I've also seen the "NO REFUNDS, NO EXCUSES" signs.) And they are usually @$$holes about it..

So yeah, if I'm getting great customer service (like I did with this place - exchanged with no questions asked, and a quick run-down of the product), I don't mind paying the extra buck to support a local business.

I guess it depends on the manufacturer. If they do not credit or replace faulty merch then why would the store?

Im glad you were able to replace OP and all worked out for you. I think we've all been in those kinds of places I just tell the clerk Im not sure if I did the damage 90% of the time they will replace what ever it is.
