Probably spent more than I needed since I went to a b&m....
Picked up a "spare" 1000mAh ego c twist battery and a protank 2 mini , it came with a 2.5 and 1.8 ohm heads, grabbed an extra 1.8 ohm head and a bottle of ry4....

Decent juice selection, but I'm not ready to go down to 18 mg nic yet, thats the highest they had.... gonna be stopping by another one later today to look at another glass/pyrex tank option, more heads and more juice and some diy supplies....

I was running short on time when I stopped in yesterday, didnt have time to have the guy put my tank together for me.... the card that came in the box doesn't make a few things clear.... ive read here the plastic cup above the wicks on the atty head stays on, right? There are two small o-rings sitting under the piece that screws onto the battery, look about the same size as the o-ring on the bottom of the atty head.... what are these used for, or just extra? If they're supposed to go anywhere around the atty head, I can't screw on the bottom piece....

Fiddled around with everything some more.... got a bit more juice from another b&m today....

Got the protank mini put together, filled up with a vg ry4.... took forever getting the bottom piece to screw in right, didnt cross-thread it, thankfully.... guess it has to sit a bit longer to fully saturate the wicks.... first hit was awesome once I got it to work.... the rest ended up with a slight burnt taste....

Still looking at getting another 65-70 ml of juice from online vendors.... between today and yesterday, I got 65 ml and about 15 ml from previous purchases....
Should be good for a few months....

Oh - that burnt taste.

If your juice is 50/50 or thicker (more VG, less PG), you can experience wicking problems in the Protank. I know I did with my coffee juice.

You may need to remove a flavor wick to get it to work right.

After you remove the flavor wick and screw the thing back together, take a few hits without firing the atty to prime the wick.

If the burnt taste is still there, the wick is ruined and you'll need to either replace the head or rebuild the atty. I'm going to suggest replace the head at this stage in your journey :)

Here's a quick tutorial for you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FQi3wZWpE4

Note - I just watched it - use a pair of needle nose pliers to remove the post if it doesn't "wiggle" off like he does in the vid.

Thanks.... a google search led me to a thread here about it.... the only thing so far I have found that works for it is to cover the three air holes and blow into it until bubbles stop rising and then the next two or three hits are fine....
With the burnt tasting hits, right behind my bottom teeth, its really sweet, for some odd reason only with the burnt taste....
Gonna take a new head and remove a wick and try that and investigate the old one to see if it it burnt....

Since ill have the head open, would priming the wicks by dripping huice on them help or hurt anything? I tried putting some on the tips of the wicks currently in the tank but it just sat there....

Edit: took two strands from a wick out of a new head, put a drop of juice on the wicks, reassembled the new head, popped it in the tank, let the juice settle to the bottom of the tank, took a primer puff or two, hit it, no burnt taste, but decreased vapor.... took apart the old head, one wick was burnt, took it out and replaced it with the two removed strands from earlier and put it back together....

Is there a vanilla or cream flavor in ry4? I was under the impression it was tobacco and caramel, or am I mixing stuff up? I found I have to be in the mood for vanilla flavors, or it just tastes off....
