Yep but the batteries hit the lid. They hold it on but it sticks up a little. I'll fix that when I go back to work after my vacation though

They are 26650's. 18650's would be no problem. I actually put a set of 18650's in that sled for ....s and giggles and they work and it closes up tight.

An 1/8th or 1/4" inch spacer out of some color coordinating wood, acrylic, plexiglass or similar would be the route I went. A small sheet of red cut and buffed would be a perfect accent.

That may not be big enough, I did not do the metric conversion.
