Box mod advice

So to wrap things up, I'm between the iStick Pico or the RX200. They are both more or less in my budget range and they both have excellent reviews. I really wanted the HCigar because of the DNA chipset, but I can't afford a $100 mod plus I'll be missing the batteries and the tank if I get the mod and it'll be a while before I get money for the tank and batteries, so maybe in some future I'll consider it.
I dont plan on vaping anywhere below .5 ohms and since I'm gonna be making my own builds for the first time, I don't want to run before I can walk...

Between the Pico and RX200, I'd choose the Pico. It's lighter, easier to pocket, and doesn't have any 510 connector issues (that I've experienced or read about). Any authentic LG/Samsung/Sony battery will be fine with the Pico. You don't need 200W, and if you're using your mod for MTL ~10W, a single battery Pico will still last all day. I do have a DNA 200 3 battery mod as well, and at low wattage I might not need to charge them for almost a week. But it's not an out and about size mod.

For an RTA, take a look at the Merlin as well. Affordable, easy to build on, and a nice choice for a MTL low wattage user.

Love my Pico, want to get a few more! I also have an Istick TC 200w on the way, just for the run time. I ordered it from VapeNW, with the sale price and 20% off it was $50.48 with 3 Samsung Hg2's shipped! Just something to think about.

Tanks, I'm just not going to even go there! I'm looking for more myself and my head is still spinning from looking at so many trying to figure out if they will work for me! I like mouth to lung not direct lung hits like so manny are meant for now.

Can't go wrong with a good Kayfun (clone) for mouth to lung.

Kayfun Lite or Kayfun V4 are excellent mouth to lung tanks. Also the Eleaf Lemo II is very good for mouth to lung.

Have the RX200 love it but not pocket friendly. Sits up well doesn't tip over when the wind blows or the table gets bumped, built like a brick

Hello, I'm new to the forum and all, so greetings
I've been vaping for a while now, about 3 years, and currently own a Vision Spinner 2. I've only been using pens and wanted to upgrade to a box mod. I've always loved the idea of customizing my own builds stuff.
Budget wise, I guess I can go max at $100; I don't wanna go for something TOO expensive yet.

A plethora of regulated box mods out there. For me when choosing it comes down to a few things from most important (for me at least) to least...

1. Form factor - how many batteries do you want your mod to run on. Single, dual, triple, or 26650

2. Max wattage you need - also dependent on #1

3. Do you need temp control? With which type of coil material? (Most come standard with TC for ni200, stainless steel, and titanium). Do you need to fine tune your Vape? If yes evolve or yihi boards are the cream of the crop.
