Box Mod Building / Multiple Batteries

Hello everyone!

I soon would like to make a box mod using the dna 40 chip and im trying to figure out if its hazardous to run more then two 18650 batteries maybe three or 4?
and as well as anyone know of a good drill set and parts i can get?

You can run them as long as they are the exact same battery and charged the same. I would start with a new set or however many you decide. Honestly I don't see why you would want more than two for a dna40. Two good batteries should last all day

depends.... what voltage is needed by the chip?? ( 3.7 or 7.4?) do you plan to buy a 4 bay charger?? or have 12 batteries on hand to swap out with? and why do you want so many batteries in the box? longevity or power? Parallel batteries give increased amps and longevity and seriesed give you increased voltage, but the same amps as a single battery. Also series sets do have a tendancy to be more unstable in mech mode but since you are using a chip, there should be some protective factor there. Does the chip go into mech mode when the ohms are too low?? if so... series sets may be an issue....

It says DNA40 so Im guessing he wants to go for days without recharging.
