Hey all. I recently bought a box mod (Dovpo Dt-50) from my local vape shop. It was working great, blowing clouds everywhere, but now it refuses to fire. The power button still works, but when it is pressed to fire the atomizer the OLED screen just blinks and nothing happens. I have confirmed it is not the fault of the atomizer. Any and all help would be much appreciated!

Take it back for the money. Buy on-line and get more for the same money you spent.
I'm with frenchfry. I seldom buy anything from B&M's anymore, especially mods. And especially mods that I'm not absolutely sure are authentic and high-end. If I'm going to buy a mid-range piece then the deals online are so much better and I can get something that has a reputation for quality.

I dunno, I like to buy stuff from my local b&m for reasons like op brought up. If your stuff breaks you can just take it back and get a replacement or something else. I got my sigelei 100w+ online but I get my tanks local in case they mess up.
Good luck OP. I know it's disappointing to get a new piece, get home to run it through the paces and then have it fail sometime later. I'm on my second failure with a VaporFlask v2.1 and it's driving me nuts. I just want to vape!

2nd failure?
1st one wasnt enuf to convince you ? I bought one of those Blu Starter kits when I first started vaping and it died within 2 weeks... I got a Vamo3 next, it died after it got dropped, got an SVD and have had it over 18 months now and still working very well... and its been very abused over the 18 months 
I googled that box, and even the manufacturer's website looks a bit sketch. The few reviews floating around YouTube certainly aren't helping your case. I'd suggest getting something from a company more reputable/reliable, like Sigelei's 50W or 100W or 150W box, the IPV series (2 or 3, still waiting on 4), or a proper DNA50.
I bought a dovpo I think it was the elvt lasted less than a month. did about the same you described I thought it was the grommet around the contact pin so I replaced that and it wasn't the problem. I did a little research after that and found out this happens a lot definitely a company i'll stay away from.
Make sure you haven't locked your DT-50. An undocumented feature, holding down the power up and power down buttons together for 3 seconds to lock or unlock the the device.
Kind of a useless function since it not only prevents accidentally changing the power settings but also prevents it from firing.
Also check that the center pin connection of the DT-50 is adjusted out far enough.
Mine wouldn't power up after a short until I plugged it into the charger then everything worked fine again, not the problem your having just something I thought I would share.

I agree that for the cost of that device, you can get a much better box mod. I would take it back and get the money and invest in a different device. I have the IPV3 150 watt box mod. It uses dual batteries and with heavy vaping I get about 3 full days without having to recharge batteries. The chip set is also upgradable online with firmware. It's already had one upgrade from 120 watts to 150 watts. It will sub ohm down to .1. It has three places to store your favorite settings so you can easily go to them. It has a adjustable 510 pen. The ipv2 50 has touch fire (fires by the heat of your finger or regular fire. I have that mod as well. The IPV series have been good mods for me. I recommend the ipv3 150 watt because it is made a bit better than the ipv2. If you get your money back for your mod and add just a little bit to it, you can get the ipv3. I've NEVER had any problems with either one of the ipv's. Both have been very reliable. You will want two 35 amp batteries. I got 18650 vtc5 batteries. Unfortunately the genuine ones are now too difficult to find. However you can use other 35 amp 18650 batteries with the ipv3 as well.I use a external battery charger with two ports and charge my batteries that way. I would take a look online at the ipv3 and see what you think. It uses the yihi chips which is nice and has a good reputation. Take a look at the specs and see if you might be interested. I really hope this helps and I'm sorry about your mod. I would NOT take another chance on the same on. I'd definitely get a refund and invest in a different device.
