Just pre-ordered an iTaste MVP v2 and more than a little excited about it.

The reason I went for a box mod is for their loyalty.
You can lay it down and not worry about it running off somewhere, unlike the promiscuous tube variety who tend to get flighty.

Quick question for all of you seasoned box modders, as this is my first.
I plan on using this with Protank II and iClear30s.
Should I be concerned about spills when I lay this thing down?
I've had a few instances of my Vivi Novas leaving little pools of juice when I set then down horizontally.

Do you box modders ever lay your boxes down with a full tank? Bad idea?

Also, your tank preferences for your box?

Thanks!

Never had any issues with my pro tank leaking on my MVP played down carto tanks either.

I loved my MVP, and like the looks of the v2..may I ask where you reordered?

That's good to hear!
I ordered from Fairy Gift. It's the only place I could find offering pre-orders.
I was immediately sold by the amount of raw masculinity contain in their name.
They said it will ship Aug. 23rd with 5-7 day shipping. (Ships from China, which makes sense)
Use code: danny10 for 10% off and it will cost about $71 shipped.

They said vendors will be listing them at the end of this month though, so if you could wait, you might want to hold out for a better vendor. Not sure about China and warranties..

I've used Kanger Protank and Evods, Innokin iClear 16 and 30's - no problem on the MVP. No leaks.

I've yet to get a cartotank to work with my MVP, though. It appears to be either an issue with the cartomizer connector or the MVP's 510 connector pin being too short. I've not messed with the connector pin, as the clearos are working so well.

Interesting you mentioned this Bad. I was poking around a few days ago and came across this thread... the eGo/510 removed and replaced with a flush 510. A fairly straight up solder job -it's a neat idea if all you want to run are 510 toppers on your MVP.

Cheers,
C
