Hi, I am looking for a small vv/vw box mod to use when I am out and about. The elast would be perfect, but you can not change the battery.

After a lot of google searching, I only found the innokin vtr. It is too large ( I have small hands).

Hopefully, you can help.

Here is what I am looking for:

510 threaded
compact
vv/vw
using one 18650 battery
ease of swapping out the battery. (no screwdriver or alan wrench required).

Another vote for rDNA40. It is the smallest mod out there currently with user replaceable 18650 (no tools required).

But it also has fast USB charging (800 mah, versus most devices 500 mah) and built in wireless charging. You'd have to be stuck in the wilderness and lose all your batteries before you'll loose power.

does the vaporshark rdna40 have reverse battery protection? I looked at the rdna 30 and it states it does not. And I have been known to fry a couple of switches by putting a battery in backwards.

I was really surprised by this as the site where I priced it was asking $189.00. I would have thought by now this would be a basic feature.

I really apprieciate all the suggestions.

The DNA 30 is $119, rDNA 30 is $169 and the rDNA 40 is $189. Free shipping from Vaporshark's website. If you download their app and check in, you get 5% off in store only (not online).

thank you for taking the time to locate and post the prices. the rdna 40 is over my budget.

I have been digging around as well and it seems like a few new box mods will be out soon. As a previous poster mentioned ivp mini, and some v2 and v3 of other models.
also looked at the e-lvt (but there is that screw and alan wrench to deal with) , and vamo mukey.

I think I will want till after the holidays, then revisit the suggestions you have made and see what is available at that time.

thanks to all that replyed,

if others have more to add to my list, I would love to hear you suggestions

There's a few more devices coming out next month. I think the MVP3 might work for you depending on price and features. They've been tight-lipped about it but it's supposed to come out by Xmas. Most compact 18650 devices with toolless battery doors are going to be in the $200 range. The Istick has a 2200mah battery that lasts a very long time and can be recharged with any microUSB cable so you can charge with your phone charger in your car. And it's cheap so you can get 2 if you vape that much.

*Edit - You didn't mention what you were going to use on this device. The Istick fires hotter than normal because it uses Vavg (Mean) so some cartos don't work well with it.
