Box mod is simply the form factor of an advanced personal vaporizer (APV) or mod. Could be mechanical or regulated (electrical microchip). The other form factor could be a tube mod.

Sub-ohm refers to the e-liquid delivery device, in particular the type of coils used and their resistance in ohms. Sub-ohm coils are anything under 1.0 ohm. Standard resistance coils are 1.0 ohm or higher. A sub-ohm juice delivery device could be a clearomizer tank, an RBA (rebuildable atomizer), a RDA (rebuildable drip atomizer), or RTA (rebuildable tank atomizer). Sub-ohm vaping requires much more battery power.

Thanks that’s what I had thought so I couldn’t find out why they would be listed separately.
As mentioned, there really is no sub ohm battery or particular mod that's sub ohm... they probably just market it that way because new vapors, kids, or potential cloud chukers have this term in there head as the newest, greatest thing....now a box mod that has multiple batteries and can fire up to hundreds of watts is just a box mod, but really only sub ohmers are going to use, so I guess you can kind of call those sub boxes, but not really
