I'll start with a big old /facepalm

First time ordering from ECBlends I gotta go acting like a kid in a candy store.

I ordered 3 new flavors and like a little kid I see the "extra flavor" options and I'm all like "Extra flavor? OH BOY! YOU BET!" LOL

Now I've tried 2 out of the 3 so far, and they're just overpowering. If I crank my jolts way up I can vape them but they're still way too much.

I've got some 50/50 (same as the order) unflavored nic at home, looks like I'm going to have to cut them down some.

Remind me next time to just leave the "mixology" up to the experts.

You might need to steep them longer. I order extra flavor on most of them. My steep times vary, but generally a week or two does the trick. The only one that has been somewhat "ready" straight out of the mailbox is Bahama Mama, but even that one tastes better with at least a few days steep time. I just usually can't wait to break into it :)

Yeah don't buy extra flavor unless you've already tried the specific juice and think it needs more. I often find even the regular flavoring options in many juices are to much.

I've really noticed this since I started DIY and realized through trial and error how little % on many flavorings are really needed, going higher can make it to strong or in many cases have an adverse effect on the flavor, also less flavoring can be better on carto/atty life.

Yeah I could kind of tell by the look and smell that these were the type that get much better when steeped. But I don't think that will be enough to knock the flavors down to where I like them. Based on what I'm tasting now though, they will be pretty awesome once aged a little and prolly cut down some.

Ah tell me about it. Between the flavor concentrations being VERY strong, and some of the flavors you'd expect to be sweet actually being unsweetened and very bitter, I've had my share of DiY mishaps. I'm actually a damn good cook in real life. Just haven't had much luck yet carrying it over into the DiY Juice department. It's fun to learn though and I'm going to keep at it.

Oh and the flavors I got were the RY4, Spearmint with Vanilla Swirl added, and the one I haven't tried yet is the Coconut Banana Cream Pie. Haven't tried the last one yet because I could smell the coconut through the shipping box and 2 layers of sealed plastic. So I know it's going to be very strong.
