I got a little bored yesterday, I made my phoenix v4 atty into a BF. Turned out pretty good. After I drilled the hole in the pos post to fed the juice I dropped it. no clue where it went. but I found a replacement post in my collection of gear. It's sloppy so I'm gonna redo it. I'm excited it worked right. I used insulators from old nautilus heads around the pos post. I had to take the delrin out to make the new post fit I'll have to change that. I have it on my grand right now and I'm having trust issues, I'm not convinced the insulators can handle the heat, so my coil is @ 1.3 and I only take a drag every so often. I wanted to put a penny fuse in the grand but it won't work so maybe i'll put a kick in it till the atty earns my trust, lol.

Nice job, I hate it when things go flying.

I use a really bright flashlight to hunt, helps me find stuff, CSI style. It focuses your vision and helps make sure you've really looked everywhere, I can't even count the times I've had to of looked right at what I'm hunting but don't notice it until I get the light.

I have a cat that finds all my dropped vape bits. She has a perfect record.

Nice save, though, and here's hoping you either find the errant post and can reassemble or the hack you have in place is up to the task.

yeah my cat is usually the reason I loose stuff. She steals it and hides it. every now and then I find little collections in the corner.
As for the flashlight, I'm a collector of those too, but no use. I have a small hole in the garage floor where we had a tire changer bolted down and I think that's where it went. If so it'll be safe forever.
