Brainstorming, or maybe just wondering: affordable alternatives for high nicotine mixing

so i got two set ups:
DL/subohm for 3mg nic
MTL highohm for 20mg (and gradually descending) nicsalts

mainly concerning the latter, i've realized how much the 10ml ready stuff are costing me and i also don't have options other than 20mg nic, to start bringing the content down.

I'd started getting flavours for 120/100 bottle with 10mls of flavour and 60ml with 12ml of flavour. But then realised I'd still be paying quite a bit for the number of nicotine shots i'd have to add: [if the math of 200mg's of nic in each 20mg/1ml (10ml bottles= the only legal nic-content in Germany) is incorrect, please tell me]

in the 120 bottle with 10ml of flavour i'd need 10 nicshots to get a 16.6...mg/ml liquid
in the 100 bottle ... i need 8 shots for 16mg nic
in the 50ml bottle with 12ml of flavour i need 5 shots (-2ml, since it doesn't fit)

and given that the cheapest shot i've found here come 2.50 euro.That's significantly more than I might pay if I was using more base than nic...

are there alrenatives to this set-up or just be thankful it still turns out cheaper than the ready-made 20mg 10ml bottles?

vape shop gyuy, said it's a serious crime here. anything higher than 20mg is considered poison, and the larger 20mg too if i understood correctly. said when you ordered your gear, if customs had said no, you could say send it back fine or pay the customs, but with importing nicotine, it'd be 'interessant' [to see what they do to you]... then again, he also said you shouldn't order the mod online, and i got it no problems...

I can't say with any certainty, but I think I seen someone mention it was legal to buy up to 78mg nicotine concentrate in European countries. Instead of taking the word of the local shops, since it is a fact that a lot of misinformation comes from lots of vape shops, you could look into the actual laws of your area on official websites.

that's part of the current project as well, complicated given the language competency, but i'll manage. still, wanted here to explore affordable strategies.. i'll post on that particular topic as well, some locals might've had experience, in addition to trying to find a rule for individual orders (the rules against selling these is quite clear)

1. Get yourself a "Giftschein" (poison certificate). This let's you handle and buy poisonous substances.
This can be a bit tricky to get though, because you have to demonstrate your abilities. And it's quite expensive.

Or

2. This is the cheap and easy way.
Enroll in the "Deutsche Handelskammer"(German trade organization). Register yourself as a trader with the specialization "Diverse Güter" (various goods). This let's you trade nicotine up to 100mg (or was it 200mg?, I forgot), although you are not allowed to sell to private persons.
This can be done in your local "Bürgerbüro" (Citizen Advice Bureau) very easily. Fill the form, pay 50 bucks, wait for your reply and buy whatever legal goods your heart may desire for the rest of your life at wholesale prices.
Just make sure to pay your profession taxes, or you may end up in jail sooner than you're able to pick up the soap.

how come you've researched this (wondering if you or someone you know has actually done this to get cheaper nic for private use)? might be tough to get any of this with my residency, though i might be changing the type in a year or so... we'll see.

so you concur, i shouldn't try ordering 140ml bottles online at the moment?

btw. technically the problem isn't getting a higher percentage; rather, getting a cheaper supply, which would normally be in larger bottles_ so the problematic rule is the nothing-over-10ml-size, not the nothing-over-20mg-percentage one. But the solutions won't be any different, i guess.

I researched the matter a while ago myself when I was worried, what will happen when my nic reserve will run dry.
I've got enough high nic PG for another few years in the freezer, so I'm not really in a rush to buy any nic at all at the moment.

It is highly illegal to buy large quantities/higher than 20mg of pure nicotine as a private person in Germany. Period.
When you get caught, the bottles will be confiscated and you will have to pay quite a hefty fine and/or you may even be forced to experience that unwilling soapy sensation. Make of that whatever you like.

As long as you don't have the right papers, you're limited to puny 10ml/20mg shots.
My main supplier for base and flavors is Riccardo-Zigarette de. They offer cheap but nevertheless high quality base, shots and a broad variety of flavors from different brands. Most of the time I stick to their own brands Riccardo and RedDragon however.

Well at least their shots are cheapers than the Vapors shots from the local place, 2 vs. 2.50. They don't list Nicsalts with the Basen though, only found it through search. Same price online as physical store? I'm not averse to a trip to Frankfurt if it's cheaper. Odd that the base is 70 VG. Maybe indeed..

coincidentally (knowing that there's a running thread for the matter), you freeze to keep past expiration date or just freeze even though they won't expire before you come round to using them?

Nic base turns oxidated over time. This means it turns yellow, and has a huge throat hit. Some people actually like it like that

We freeze nic base to prevent oxidation. Tests have shown that nic base stored in a freezer lasts anywhere from 5-10 years to indefinitely. It is just the best way to store bulk supplies of nic base.

I use very small amounts of juice for my MTL device, if it's that expensive don't make huge bottles, keep that for the DL juice, get unflavored base or VG and a nic shot or 2 for that, along with lighter flavoring. You'll need to actually measure flavorings, not just dump in the whole bottle anyway. Also, don't fill to the top any bottle you expect to mix by shaking.

I didn't buy from them before, though I was contemplating at one point, but they have good reputation. Being in UK, maybe your package wouldn't go through customs. I'm not sue, but worth considering.
