Brand new battery stops charging!

Hello just joined this morning after browsing around site looking for a solution to my problem, which by the way is driving me insane. I purchased a New Flavour Vapour Battery and along with it a new USB charger in their shop based in bristol. The person behind counter suggested it needed an initial 3-4 hour charge before using, although it had some power as the led would light (not to say it was powering my atty, no smoke at all when i screwed it on.) heres the real problem, i screwed on my new battery into the charger and the red led would light to say it is charging but literally about 20-30 seconds later, the led will turn green and the battery will stop charging. As confused as i was, i unplugged charger and popped it back in, only to see that it started to charge again. then only 20-30 secs later it would stop charging. this keeps going on forever and i cant get a full charge unless i were to stand next to it for 3 hours unplugging and inserting again every 20 secs! So frustrating as the bat and charger are the same brand and are brand spanking new! Any Ideas anyone?

Hard to say for sure without being able to test it, but it sounds to me like it's already charged, but is not getting a solid connection to the atty.

What I would do is go back to the shop and see if they have other hardware you can test. Throw a different atty on your battery and see if that works. Then throw your atty on a different battery and see if that works. Doing that, you can probably figure out which piece is having trouble connecting, and try to adjust the firing pin/etc to get a good fire.

If both work on other devices but it still won't charge, then I would ask for a replacement!

I have had trouble with the Pin not making a connection before on other batterys but i kinda automatically ruled that out seeing as it was a new battery this time around. I will fiddle with it for a bit and see if i can get something to work but if not will deffo ask for a replacement. thanks for the help!
