Well, My ego-T finally arrived and I got to try vaping. Unfortunately, I can't get any more than the slightest mist out of the thing, if anything at all. I understand this probably belongs in the tech help area but I can't post there yet. Still, any help would be greatly appreciated.

From what I can tell, the atomizer isn't wicking from the tank at all. (the atomizer is definitely getting hot)

Actually, I'm not sure the needle in the atty even pierced the tank end cap. The cap has a recessed circle portion in the center that I assumed was the diameter of the needle, however, there is still plastic in there. Should the hole the needle makes be visible?

The kit came with 2 attys and 5 tanks. I've tried both attys and 3 of the tanks. Some symptoms for all of them.

Any other ideas? Thanks.

Here's what I was told:
When you pierce the tank in the atty, rotate the tank 360° in both directions (I think 1 revolution is enough). There is a bit of resistance when you puncture it initially. (Others have taken to puncturing it before putting it on the atty.)

After you puncture it, there will be a flap inside the tank where the recessed hole was.

Wow, there we go. I didn't push the mouthpiece all the way in. I did have to force it a bit, and it does make a nice visible puncture when it's correct. Now I see what all the fuss is about. This thing is nice!

You have to push pretty hard to get the tank to pierce...you will see a hole that goes right thru into the juice holding tank....
When it's popped in correctly, it will be into the atty all the way to the tapered part...shouldn't have any of the round diameter visible...
Make sure you blow thru the atty into a tissue or napkin first before you vape, to get out the preservative oil that the attys ship with...

Keep us posted....and good luck

Congrats on getting it to work.

I use those rubber end caps when I'm holding different flavors.

I haven't had any leaking issues, but you may want to have a look at a few threads in this forum about the tanks leaking. Personally, I've just left the tank sitting in the atty all day and night. *Knock on wood*, haven't had any issues.

Another thing to keep in mind is the thicker VG juices can clog the tank atomizer after awhile. Soaking them in water or alcohol will help restore them to working order. Just be careful how long you soak them in alcohol because the black skin can start to come off. Also, I had a problem when I filled the tank 100%. I found it wicked better when it was only filled about 80% to 90% full.
