I have ego 650mah battery's and with LR cartomizers they won't even work at all. The safety turns on and I wouldnt have expected this from a battery that supposed to run about 3.7v. Thats why we use LR to get a hotter and in turn bigger vape. Has anyone else had this experience? I realize batterys run hotter at first, but these have been used for about a month using 2.4ohm with some burning, and then went up to 2.8ohm with little issues. I realize they burn high, but i didn't think it would actually seize to work at all with LR. What can I do, return them? Is this a normal flaw or did they put the wrong battery in these ego casings. I am going to try and find a good cheap voltage meter if anyone has one in mind please show me....then i'll get the true number with and without a load. Thanks...

It helps after posting if you stay online and answer a few questions.:)

If it's your actual battery that's getting hot, you should toss it.

I doubt that they could fit a different sized batt in the casing.

Sounds like you're using the vivi nova?

    Is the button blinking?

    How many blinks?

I've run down to 1.7 Ohms on a 3.4 ego with no problems. Really need a multimeter to check the Ohms regularly.

What batt are you using? Most ego run 3.4, except for the kgo/riva and joye upgrade.
