Hello everyone,

Been a while since I posted. Been vaping for over 3 months now and haven't had an analog after smoking 2 PAD for 45 years.

Started with a Halo G6 and just recently upgraded to an Ego-C. Wanted to try the tank thing as opposed to cartos.
Pretty happy with it so far, the only problem I had was a burnt taste when I started which really disappointed me after dropping $90
@ Zikwid for an Ego-C. Did a search on the forum and found that if you push the wick down in the atomizer head it resolves that issue
and it has in fact resolved the issue, haven't gotten that nasty burnt taste since. So... all in all pretty happy with the Ego-C performance
and battery life. Like the tank as opposed to the cartos and the battery life is much longer than the Halo G6.

That being said, went to Unsmoke and bought some extra atomizer heads and noticed they have LR atomizers heads for the Ego-C
as well as the standard HR's. Has anyone tried the LR's and the HR's that can give me a comparison as far a vapor production and TH
difference? I know they won't last as long and will run hotter but wanted to know if the vapor production and TH difference justify the higher price.

Thanks.

Most people seem to prefer the LR ones including me. They just give a little more flavor I think. They should be the same price as the regular ones. They seem to last the same amount of time too. I really don't think it's that big of a diff in resistance, but enough to give ya a little more everything.

The dry hit thing... I had that when I fist got mine too. I adjusted, and almost never ever get a dry hit unless the tank is empty now. I think the key is soft draw & not a hard draw after it's primed.

LRs are juice hogs, regardless whether used in tank systems or not. That being said, since all tank systems are finicky wrt juice viscosity going LR may be problematic. If the viscosity is too great you are going to get dry hits as the atty is not receiving enough liquid.
