Hey all! Names Ryan from Cali and received my Apollo extreme starter kit about 2 days ago. As a smoker of 3 years I was extremely satisfied with the vapor. However the cartomizers only last me a day which I found to be a bit inconvenient. I was looking to return my current kit and looking to purchase a "tank" kit that can last a bit longer, about 2 packs worth. Would appreciate any advice or input. Also could you guys post how long one refill can last you, smoking somewhat on a constant basis?

I think everything we start with we aren't happy with LOL I started out with a kit similar to what you have, returned it and bought an ego-t kit for only 20 bucks more. Batteries lasted forever compared to those of the previous kit, the tank system I was happy with but not totally. Upgraded to the ego-c kit and was happier with that set up, used it for nearly 2 months. I am what can be called a chain vaper, and the little 1ml tank in the ego kit would last me a couple of hours, but refilling it was easy so it was no big deal to me, there is a type b kit that has a 2ml tank cartridge if you don't want to fill as often.

This is where I got mine, but their shop is close to me so I just walked in to buy it. Joye eGo-C - Starter Kits There are probably kits that are cheaper out there.

There are plenty of different tanks you can choose from that will give you a bit more vapor and eliminiate the need to top off cartos. Your main ecig or APV may help to determine what tank you should purchase (you want it to rest comfortably on the PV and be able to set it down without leaking.

I don't know if you are purchasing a pen style (looks like a cigarette), a fat battery (like a Riva/Joye) or a tube style ecig. Bottom feeding APVs are also an alternative to look at. Post what types of ecigs you like and some people may chime in with what is working for them.

+1 on never being happy with your first set up. It takes a little bit to settle in with what is going to work for you long term.

If you are just starting out, I really recommend unfilled cartos. I'm yet to find a tank system that works all the time with no problems.

I top my carto off about once an hour. I keep a small bottle on me. It's not a major inconvenience.

Cartos are cheap and disposable, and reliable. I'm not saying don't try out tank systems... I am saying keep some simple cartos lying around as a backup plan.
