Brand new NPRO smoker

I am a long time smoker (pack/day), who bit the bullet yesterday and bought an NPRO. I understand there are better models out there, but the NPRO is all I could get locally. I was too unsure about buying an ecig to buy my first over the net, without being able to hold it in my hand. I am enjoying the NPRO, and have only had 1 analog cig since its purchase. For those who are familiar with the NPRO, can I use other manufacturer's accessories and parts for the NPRO? What will fit? Are there quality discount online vendors that sell njoy products. I need to order a few extra batteries, atomizers, cartridges, a car charger, and I would really like a handy case to carry the essentials. Buying from the njoy site, this will cost me nearly $100. Any suggestions?

Thanks

I am glad the Nipro works for you. It was the first ecig I bought mainly because I bought it locally. After finding this forum I ordered a 510 and never used my Nipro again. According to Nipro they only show prefilled carts so at first I thought this was all I could use. This was a very expensive lesson. IMO the Nipro is a poor excuse for an ecig but if you like it then good. I rarely see anybody on the forum that use an Nipro.

Hi, I started with NJoy's NPro for the same reason you did. It was one of the only e-cigs that I could find at my local smoke shop. It was WAY over priced for what I got. 1 auto-batt, 2 cartos, a usb charger and auto adapter for $50 + tx.

The battery life was short and after a couple of weeks I had to draw really hard to get the batt to turn on. I bought two auto batts from NJoy. The new batteries had better draw but took over 2hr to charge and lasted less than one hour of hard vaping. I email them twice about the discrepancies and got no reply.

To answer your earlier question: Yes you can refill NJoy Cartos. I have been refilling Cartos from NJoy with e-juice and they work but get a burnt taste after a few refills. There is no way to clean them. I would guest-a-mate that their 5 pack bottle ($19.99 on NJoy’s website) hold about as much juice as a pack to a pack and a half analog cigs. In no way a savings. Also when you read NJoy’s warranty it states:

“During the warranty period, NJOY will, at its discretion, repair or replace (with a new or reconditioned unit) components that are defective.”…

… “The NJOY product (cartridge, battery, or charger) is not designed to be refilled or modified in any way. If any foreign substance or liquid is added to the NJOY vaporizer or cartridge, the warranty is VOIDED.”

Look around. Check out prices and warranties. I just purchased a P510 kit from Vapormaxx and am loving it. They responded to my calls and emails quickly. Their prices are competitive and their warranty states:

” Unlike other E-Cigarette brands, Vapor-Maxx products come with the only life time warranty in the industry.”…
…”And remember, all hardware is warranted for life, if you have any questions or problems with the operation or function of your new Vaporizer feel free to call or email us. We are here to help you in any way possible to free you from the offensive and deadly grip of Tobacco addiction.”

Hope it helps

I got my rechargeable Npro at a local gas station for $20. I just called around and asked if they had rechargeable e-cigarettes. I bought e-Juice for $7 and learned how to use the cap to refill the cart on youtube. This works well for me until I can save for an upgrade.

Njoy Npro is RN4081, as is Smokstik Hendu

Not alot available for it. The main thing I would recommend is manual batteries (harder to damage or kill with juice leaks, easier to get a good hit, what most here use for all models). And somewhere on the web I saw new long 280mah batteries for RN4081 (about 60% more charge). AZSmokeFree has some RN4081 stuff as does VaporKings and I think both have blank cartomizers - look for cartos that say they are soft-cap. You can also use RN4081 atomizer w/ cartridges (may be useful for trying new juices without wasting a cartomizer). Goodprophets should have a couple of 4081 to other model adapters - a 4081 to 808 (aka 4081 to KR88D-1) adapter would let you use cartomizers from V4L, SmokelessImage, Halocigs G6, Bloogplanet.

For a car charger all you need is a standard 5v 500mA (.5amp) output car lighter to USB adapter and plug the USB battery charger into that. If you find a passthrough, you would need 5v with at least 2amp (2000mA) USB output unless the passthrough has a real inline battery.
