I think the reason they wanted you to say how many you wanted was just to show Imeo how much demand there was. Hopefully everyone will get what they want
I would love to see this with same question asked in a new thread: How many people would commit to a USFv2...

I suspect the numbers will be surprising, despite Ody.

You are probably right but the delay would be the issue. We already have about a 2 month wait for the GGPP. Then people are waiting on more GGTS so another month or so. Then more Ody (possibly depending on what Penelope is but I think it is likely to be in demand if it is a smaller rebuildable) so possibly another month or so. So we wouldn't be able to see any new UFS on the market for 3-6 months by which point many people who ask for them may have moved on not to mention the delay so many products would bring to any ideas Imeo may come up with.

I respectfully disagree.

the limiting factors are as follows:

1) R&D.
2) Manufacturing
3) Distribution

GGPP is still R&D, and that's well understood.
UFS is not R&D, it's 'build to spec', a concept that can scale...

As one who quit the corporate gig in 2006 and started a company, i understand the dilemma; spend time scaling vs spend time innovating. It's been my stances that if I have people telling me they want to spend money and I simply need to sell them what they want, that's a priority. It builds the user base that I can sell into for the next awesome development.

My biggest frustration as a consumer (I'm very pro-comsumer) is wanting to execute the transaction of me wanting to give my money for goods/services and the vendor saying "No".

IMO UFS is the best tank system out there, and I've tried several, including the ones at COV. build it, and build the 510 converter so it works on other mods, and Bruce won't be able to keep it stock. (And it broadens the base)

'Satisfy every vapor out there" is one side of the equation.. the other side at this time: "Satisfy me by selling me 3 more UFS's"

I think you're right, martinc. Although it was a bit confusing to have a thread counting buttons at first and than a second one with the sum of names...

Although this is great news kinda makes the list a little pointless. Here just hoping i get to get one before they are all gobbled up.

The reason for the first list was because in the past when I had asked Iimeo to make brass buttons he had said no. With the list showing how many people wanted them and how many they would buy - Imeo changed his mind and agreed to make more. If no one had showed interest nor said they would buy x-amount - there would be no reason for him to make them again.

The second list was for people to vote on what they would like for him to make - ultimately - all is up to Imeo.

If there had been no original list - there would have been no Brass Buttons again. There had been so much interest in the flat head brass button so a second list was started to give Imeo an idea what people would like to have. No other maker I know of cares about what people want nor do they make old product again. We all should be grateful IMO.

That makes sense. Thanks for explaining, dspin.

YES, I am grateful.:nun:
