So I know that fasttech ran out of the v5 chimbus's and are replacing them with the chimbus2 which has brass/copper(forget which) what are the dangers of that metal being heated up because I've read that there is a possibility of it and mine gets here this week

the listing will usually state the materials, for brass i wouldnt worry about it personally, it would take a lot of heat to cause a problem i think. more heat then what would be comfortable to vape. unless your scraping the posts and leaving shavings in the atty to soak all day i don see it as an issue, and once they oxidize and tarnish a bit this adds a slight layer onto it.
to me just getting wet and soaking in juice are two different things
for quit some time now upper end attys have used brass hardware and center screws.
and look at it this way most houses are filled with copper and brass pipes/fittings as well as most faucets being chrome plated brass

were breathing artificial flavoring using burned SS and singed fiberglass wrapped in a chrome/aluminum wire, at this point i dont think what its connected to is as dangerous in the end
