Thanks imeo and dspin. Yes I am in Greece. I will PM you. However I am afraid all my old gear are like this now. I will polish everything up and see which parts are having this issue. This is a part from late 2012. Does someone know what might be causing this? Maybe with wheels it will go away but honestly I'm not planning on investing in high polish gear. Other parts look perfect by using only the sunshine cloths or polish by hand.

aal I suspect this could be a result of something you used to polish it with in the past. Do you recall what you used in the past?

I don't think I will tell u why.

I just realized the only place that doesn't have this issue is a small ring around the button of a brass engraved tube (which has the same issue). So I think my hands caused this because that's the only place that never been touched. I used these pieces for a while but left them uncleaned for a long time.

It could well be but still it will be removable with a good polish buddy. Just get a pair of white felt gloves like Steliosss to vape from now on

I'm not sure a better polish will fix it. I use sharkhide and my Stealth which I use all the time looks like that. My GGTB which I rarely use still has a mirror finish on it. I think it comes down to having to use buffing wheels which I don't want to learn how to do. Fortunately I like the shiny matte look.

No shortcuts for my partsy parts.
I want them nothing less then brand new when ever I want!
And I want it to last as long as it can!
Threads button sleeve knurled switch rings all.

So,we r gonna bishopheels this one ;)
Got me some ultrasonic cleaner with heat capabilities (just in case there is a need)
Some shine/polish pads for my screwdriver.
And some US made formula 1 carnebua hard wax shiner and coater.

I think on Friday I'll have time to play with the new toys.
Will see.

Couldn't wait for Friday so I took apart one of our first NB JGG
And put it in the ultrasonic cleaner for 8 minutes (all the parts except for O rings )
In water with a bit of dish soap ha.
It's working quite a thing.
So jeweler liquids can work better.

Could built the mod as went out from the cleaner as it's was spotless clean.
But I wanted it to last so I went all the bishop recommended procedure
And applied the carnebua wax,and the polish pads.
Only on:battery cap, engrave tube Brass button head,telescope,2 extensions and AR.
I got the best resolt I ever got as it went slick and dry
Without oily residue.
The carnebua wax get dry glaze on the polish wheel.
You feel it but it's not sticky.

Took those picture but the light don't do it justice as it is a yellowish lamp.
But no grains no left overs,I like the outcome.

Now we will see how long it will hold.
But I can make it again like so when ever I want, and this is the best.

Ok I edit this as I took one more picture I the kitchen light 6500k fluorescent bulbs,
So end result will shown better.
