Thanks imeo and dspin. Yes I am in Greece. I will PM you. However I am afraid all my old gear are like this now. I will polish everything up and see which parts are having this issue. This is a part from late 2012. Does someone know what might be causing this? Maybe with wheels it will go away but honestly I'm not planning on investing in high polish gear. Other parts look perfect by using only the sunshine cloths or polish by hand.

I never thought to ask you, I assumed you didnt - BUT - too much polish can cause discoloration too. More is not better.

I don't think sunshine cloth would put a lot of polish on the piece. AnywayI will get back to this later. I am convinced it is because it is been a long time sitting on the shelf with air. I never used to clean it well so when i polished it it was really in bad shape. I am assuming it is from my hands, since as i said before there is a small surface in the shape of a circle around the button hole in the engraved tube where it is still as shiny as ever. I am assuming since i don't touch that area it is still good. It seems the only way to fix this is with wheels and some kind of abrasive, but really cannot be bothered right now. I have a lot of shiny objects already. I may send only my brass GGTB to a polisher because it is the most beautiful piece :D

Reviving this old thread. So today I went crazy with the sunshine cloth after an ultrasonic bath. I was able to remove some of the white prints. It seems as I thought after all. It needs a more abrasive polishing and not simply rubbing with hands. I almost broke my hands with power rubbing lol.

Also make sure item is wet and full with the polish meterial.
Sometime one can work hard if there is not enough polish materiel on the serface.
What I do with the cape code is first wet serface and wipe then again, do the same only then real wet serface
And polish with force, but not to much of force.
If some marke can't be remove wet again.
This way the last act is much shorter and easier.
