Hi all,
First let me say hello. I am Kevin and I have been vaping for about a year. I smoked up to three packs a day and this is turning out to be a huge positive part of my life. With that said, I bought what I feel is a great setup that will last me a long time. Here it is.

My question has to do with electrical flow through the brass. I read that the electricity flows through the outside of the material. If this is true would it flow through the inner walls of the tube or the outer walls?
I maintain mine meticulously. I keep all contacts clean with a toothbrush, alcohol, white eraser, q-tips and even pipe cleaners for small female threads in the switch and pin. I keep everything coated with Nyogel 760g. If you know what this is, you know why I use it
So my main concern is not of the obvious sections but the outer or inner surfaces of the tubes. I LOVE patina, as I am a huge knife collector and make my own knives. I just don't like 'sterile' steel. I love character and the romance/story behind a good earned patina.
BUT if its hampering performance more as it builds, I guess I would buff it off.
Please let me know what there is to know on this.
Thanks so much,
Kevin
