Edit: I'll change the thread title on Tuesdays to the newest episode to warn of spoilers.. Lets try and wait till Tuesdays to discuss the previous Sunday's episode? That way we can have a couple days to let the DVR folks catch up before the spoilers go up?

yes! Great show! Is this the last series? We've got an episode on tonight...

does Walt have his cancer rearing up? I think last weekends episode was a big foreshadow.

I've watched it a few times. It's certainly a character apart from the dad in malcolm in the middle

i think they did a good job with that show.
and scify's SGU is as great sorry to op.

did walt get high in fly? that is a qq that was not clear to me...i know the reason will come out about why the fly, but he really got the sate of mind of a dopers exstream actions being able to infect the people close to him (jessie) looking for that critter...

I highly (heh) doubt Walt got high - he just wasn't acting that bugged (heh) out. Ok it's starting...

Something that had been confusing me all week is that they were showing commercials that said "Previously on Breaking Bad..." and then they showed a bunch of scenes I didn't remember ever seeing. Now I see that they were mistaken and they should have said "Scenes from the next Breaking Bad".

I think the fly represented guilt. Thats why he was so adamant about killing it. And came SO close to telling Jessy the truth! Then when he was back home, and the fly landed on the red light of the smoke detector, his guilt came right back at him highlighted in red even.

Remember, he WAS high for a lot of the time after jessy loaded up his coffee with sleeping pills. I think Walt knew Jessy put them in there, but at that point just didn't care (he was already delirious from being awake for like 36 hours + that fall) and maybe hoped a little that the drugs would MAKE him tell the truth, like when he said "which one" to Sky about the phones before his surgery.

Or maybe it was just a fly, and Walt is OCD a lil

Haven't watched tonight's yet.. Boooo for working the night shift

AHH crap forgot it was on ...3 day weekend and all This is one of those few shows that just seems to get better and better!

Walt worked at the car wash for 4 years? In season 1 it seemed like he'd only worked there a few months. The way the students reacted when they saw him, the way the boss spoke to him, etc.

Also did you notice the fly type logo on the metal drums in the lab this episode?

I think the logo is more of a bee, and that's been there awhile. I noticed it a couple episodes ago when they 1st got into the big lab. I think it's the Laundry's logo.

I actually had the feeling that Walt had worked at that car wash for awhile. Seemed to me they were struggling financially for quite some time and he was willing to do what it took to get by. Skyler on the other hand.. ugh.. such a ....* !!

We're winding down the season.. Any predictions on what Jessy will do? We KNOW something bad is going to happen. Will the kid die? Will Jessy end up back in the hospital shot by the kid? or the sister? Are Jessy's buddies seriously going through the steps? lol. My big prediction is Walt's boss getting either busted, or killed.

Why no more discussion on this AMAZING show?? Only a few shows I can think of that are as good or better. Maybe a separate thread for each would do.

Let's see here...there's Dexter: Americas favorite serial killer. Dexter Morgan is one of the greatest characters I've ever seen. That is until you mention Battlestar Galactica! Geeky I know...but I've never seen better writing, acting, effects, story arc etc.

And I'm catching up on shows I probably should have watched, but now have the DVD's.. like Stargate:Atlantis (just started ssn3), The Shield (blew thru all seasons in 2 weeks) and Warehouse 13.
