So yeah, I've now gone 8 days with a smoke and I broke even and exceeded what I would have spent on analogs today. My E-Cig has kept me away from smokes. I've got my original Joye eGo starter kit, 7 fluids from LF; I bought 5 cartos and 5 fluids and empty 10ml bottles from FSUSA and I've had some interesting experiences in my first week of vaping:

1. I had some kid on a bike saw me puffing on my way home from work and asked to bum a cig to which I replied I'm sorry I don't smoke I just have an E-Cig and he stopped and asked mad questions.

2. Bonding in my break/back room at work with other employees playing "Guess that flavor!"

3. Pat on the back from my Doctor after I told him I quit smoking cigs and jumped to E-Cigs to which he asked a buncha questions about it possibly as an alternative to offer to other patients.

4. Spoke with another E-Cig user in the mall who had one of the cheap (Quality wise not price wise) E-Cigs at a Kiosk and helped him troubleshoot the problem with his E-Cig not pulling from the filler correctly. I told him to go grab a bag of pollyfil from a pet store cause I read about that on here!

There's more but those stick out in my mind. It's been a good week with good results and I hope to continue on my analog free journey. My end goal is to ween myself off the nicotine and vape occasionally for flavor and fun!

Congratulations! You've become a good will ambassador for E-cigarettes :)
I have the same plan in mind....gradually ween myself off of nicotine and just enjoy the experience
Good job!

Yeah, some say it's not a good way to quit but... I've already dropped from 24mg to 18mg with my juices from FSUSA (AWESOME JUICE) and I plan to drop down to I think it's 12? with my batch after this runs out.

vaping, for me, seems to work. I don't have a constant flow of nicotine in me like I did when I tried to quit with patches and I'm proud of not smoking a cig. The last one I smoked was after the first 2 hours of vaping and it tasted so bad I threw the rest away. I am vaping a lil more often than I would have smoked but that's just cause the flavor is so good, and I'm still figuring out how much I need to vape to equal a cigs worth of nicotine ha.

Anyone know that by chance or is it just feeling it out?

This is wonderful, and so inspirational! I will be getting my first ever vaping kit today, and I'm very excited about it. The really nice thing about this forum and the members is that it doesnt feel like "quitting program"
but more like an adventure you are starting--and thats a big difference IMHO. I hope that by focusing on the fun stuff like the ejuice and flavor possibilities, I'll have an easier transition in the change over as well.
You should be really proud of yourself, and realize what an inspiration you are to us newbies!
