Oh my, a brick and mortar that sold halo, rawr, etc? Honestly, for me, it's the waiting to try the juice that really gets me.. $1 ml is almost worth it.

A store opened in va not too long ago that has some pretty darn good juice. Although it is fairly expensive they do a buy 2 10ml bottles get one free. Also mix some up if I ask.

The main thing is that they have their own brand I can't get anywhere online, some are killer! But I don't think it's rude to make notes. If they sell juices that are online however, chances are the prices may not be too much higher, and that's the case I would say if they are good people, I would just support the store.

Cheers
Marshall

The BM that we go to has Highbrow Vapor, Vapor God, Rawr, Vapor Rite, Halo, Joyetech ... And more. The 2 visits we've made have been pretty expensive so I won't feel bad if next time we go in and only spend $ 10 - $20 bucks ;)

Man…a local B&M that actually carried real brands of juice would be dangerous.

Nothing wrong with buying online if it's cheaper with shipping. You've made purchases there and will continue to make purchases there for equipment or for juice that you're out of or must have right now for other reasons. I'd even be up front about it. Hey look, your juice is more expensive than it is online, so I'm ordering most of my stuff online but will buy here if I can't wait for it. I've been in sales for 20 years. I had no issues with a client buying something from another vendor if I couldn't meet the price or get close, because they would make the occasional desperation purchase and they were loyal to me on the products I could excel with. Oh... and if I had 5 clients all tell me about the pricing, I could go to the boss and say that 5 clients were getting it from another vendor due to our prices and could maybe leverage a better deal.

yeah i would feel bad just going in and sampling without buying anything, unless it was my first and only visit. If you do the math and the cost including shipping still works in your favor, I wouldn't be visiting the store unless you're in a pinch. You may also want to discuss their prices with them and ask what they are offering that makes their product superior and worth the extra money. If they can't sell you on that, look elsewhere. Granted buying local is usually a little more expensive and it's nice to support the local guys so it may be worth it to you for some products. $1/ml sounds pretty steep though. I personally wouldn't be dropping 30 bucks on a 30mL bottle..that's just outrageous.

I stepped into a brick and mortar shop for the first time this past weekend and ended up getting a few odds and ends that I usually forget to order online like lanyards and cones. I will probably go back when I have more time to sample their flavors other than that the only reason I would go back is to take a smoker who is considering making the switch. It was fun to see some mods like the Cube I had only seen pictures of online.

We actually did this on Sunday when we went back. I wanted a "coupler" to cover the battery threads on my Ego-T when using the Vivi Nova Mini. We told the guy that we found it online for $ 2.00 and they were charging $ 5.00 for it. We ended up getting 2 of those and 2 lanyards for $ 10.00 ... saved about 60% on their "retail" ... told the guy there "you know I will be back to buy more stuff" he said "yeah and you've spent over $ 150.00 here in 2 weeks.

Still invaluable to try flavors, buy 1 or 2 and order the rest online.

i look at it like this: i pay a price for the juice, i pay a price for the shipping, and i pay a price for trying lots of crappy juices that dont work for me. i WILL spend on juices at local stores and for those juices that I like I will re-stock regularly, despite paying a bit more after considering all expenses. I do return for that stuff as I feel it supports my entire community. I also keep them in mind for when i have needs (not highly likely, as my local store is V4L whih is 808 or something connect, and I dont use that).

I know the "local" guy is at a disadvantage due to paying for taxes, etc. I'm more likely to spend my money, even if is a little more, locally as it supports my state, country, etc. I won't,however, spend a ton more simply to support or if their juice sucks or is not to my taste. If I don't like their product or I have to buy adaptors for because they use different connections....sorry...you'll probably just get a juice order in crisis. you've made a choice and I've made mine re: product/connectors.

In the end, my largest output is juice. This is so serioussly subjective that I will try local, and buy local if it suits. If not, then I buy where suits me. Simple as that.

on the other hand, V4L is the primary supplier near me. If there are many more, they are not advertising, even online. This area is so huge, if they won't market, they wont get my business. Sad but true! if they advertise, I'll try them and buy if it fits my flavor profile.

Doesnt work for anyone to not support local businesses, if they have waht you need. you pay more in taxes in the long run, and house value when shops dont succeed. Just my opinion from seeing all shipped overseas!

I shop my preferred vendors for juice, UNLESS in crisis, whether that is local or not.

then again, it can be the same oneline. buy from the "real" distributor or from a secondary supplier? I had my answer when AVE had been down for over a month, could not place an order for weeks after re-opening, etc. I'm not loyal unless it is convenient. Missing my fav juice for weeks? got me addicted and cant meet that need? I'm outta there and ordering (and paying more!) from someone that can supply it. supply and demand changes the whole pic!
