I've worked at my local B&M for about 2 months, and I learn more every day. There are some customers who know more than I do, and some who know almost nothing. I always try to educate my customers, and I'm always open to learning from my experienced customers. I see people talking about employees who have an elite attitude, and sometimes customers can have this attitude as well. We try very hard in our shop to provide exceptional customer service, and we spend a lot of time sometimes helping our customers, either getting them started or other stuff. The owner of our store started it because he believes in the product, and to help our community. Appalachian Kentucky is has a very concentrated smoking population, so we have a lot of people to help in our area.

Also, I may not recognize your kayfun or even know what that is (i know what it is) but that doesn't mean I don't know anything. So yeah some people have attitude and it can be annoying.

The first day I decided to quit smoking, was almost the day I decided to just continue smoking.

I went into a B&M that was recommended by a friend. I stood around for nearly 20 min until I was greeted by an employee. I told them I was a pack a day smoker that had tried Blu's but was really wanting to quit but didn't know where to start with vaping. They threw and ego down, a disposable clearo and a bottle of juice. $55.00, and made me feel like I was interupting thier day because I had question. I almost walked out without buying anything, but I really did not want to buy another pack of cigs.

The next day I went to a different B&M and explained what happened the day before at the other shop. The guy behind the counter took the time to go over everything I had bought, and answered EVERY question I could come up with. I didn't buy a thing from his shop that day as I already had "everything" I needed (LOL, remember when you thought all you needed was that setup). The guy KNEW I wasn't buying yet still wanted to make sure that I stuck with it.

Now I am very loyal to the second shop, *Shout-out* Good Nature E-Vapor in Appleton, and rarely go anywhere else. I drop about $50 everytime I am in the shop, sometimes more. And all because they took the time to know thier stuff, and care about a customer.

Ok enough about praising... I went into a shop this past weekend... Looking for a new mod... Guy was selling a Tesla for $140, and had the "new" 134's in all the colors for $199 each. I politley asked the owner if he knew those were clones, he flat out said no they weren't they were the real deal. I own a 134, I know what they look like.. and there are similarities, but no dice. I should have asked him for the Innokin sticker. I again told him that they clones, and that it's cool to sell clones, BUT don't try and polish crap and tell me it's gold and charge me gold prices. I walked out, never to return again.
I'm headed over to Appleton tomorrow to help a friend move. I'll have to swing in there and check them out.

No, I found that if a store buys a certain amount they can have their own logo added to the eGos. One of my eGo's has MVS on the bottom and I bought it from My Vape Store.

Another way to tell is that the light will stay on while it's charging. I have a knockoff and the light stays on while my actual ego's light goes off. (Edited to add: I'm chucking the knock-off, it seems to fry things a lot.)

Thanks for the input folks. Sorry if I hijacked the thread. My ego twist has no logo on the bottom but the light does turn off (while charging) after about 30 min. So…. I would really like to think that the shop did nothing "wrong" because the owner was very helpful and I would like to continue doing business with him.

If it works for you, just enjoy it. Sounds like you are learning fast and going to explore more pretty quickly. You will grow out of the eGo within a few weeks and it will become just a backup. If you don't comfortable with authenticity of mods the store sell, use them for juice and checking out the mods. But do the actual buying with reputable online vendors. Stores make more $$ on juice anyway. So, it is win/win.
