Brief intro.

I recently was diagnosed with COPD I am 65 years old and have been smoking since I was 12. I never smoked more than 1 PAD, but was seriously hooked. Quitting was no problem as I had done it thousands of times before. Tests showed that it was not the smoking that caused my COPD. Apparently I had childhood asthma that was never diagnosed or treated.

A friend gave me a couple e-cigs to try. I was totally disappointed. They had no taste and only lasted about 6 hours. Then I ran across a new store in town called VaperCaper. After talking with the guy behind the counter, I decided to try it out. I had nothing to lose.

I bought a Vision Spinner 2 with a Kanger Mini Protank 2. After one tank of juice I was sold on the vaping. I have not had a cigarette in 8 days now.

Looking forward to learning more. The slang is a little confusing, but I guess that will come with time.

Welcome Jack! Yep the slang is confusing. Stick with it and you'll figure it out. Just add "omizer" to most words and it will become clearer.

great to hear ya kicked the 'habit'

and ya know what, unlike other ways, it just keeps getting better
with vaping...

ya still get your nic-fix, but your lungs feel better, your smell returns
your taste

then before long 'the other' is disgusting to ya...

wow that's quite an achivement. I'm at more or less 11 weeks and I will NEVER go back to stinkies ever again. Don't worry to ask question vape community are pretty friendly.

You have quite a nice starter kit too. I own an vision spinner v2 and protank 3 setup. I still use it even if I have more advanced device.
