I've found that 18mg is a good strength for me. I bought some 36mg juice once and it was way too strong, gave me a bad headache if I had more than a couple puffs. So I went to the drug store and bought some VG and cut it down to 18mg and it was fine, I actually ended up liking the flavor even more. That was my first DIY juice, now I've given up buying premade e-liquid. I purchased a bunch of 36mg VG base and 15 different flavors, it's fun to try all the different flavors and not just hope I like whatever I bought from a vendor.

FYI.....I was a PAD smoker of 'regualar strength' cigs. When I started vaping, the first few sample flavors I tried were listed as 12mg. I'm not sure why, but 12mg damn near knocked my socks off in some cases and seemed too HIGH. I am experimenting with flavor samples of varying nic levels and am finding that 6 to 10 mg is very satisfying in most cases. I have no idea why this is true in my case.

I am trying to find the most satisfying vape at the lowest nic levels possible, eventually going to zero nic. I could easily see myself continuing to vape at 0 nic if the flavors continue to taste this GOOD! YMMV.
