HoPe is the GG super-fan and he goes a bit out of control sometimes, as all fanatics are won to do. I would love to have him back here, his knowledge of the GG line is formidable and he is quite funny in a dry and sarcastic way. He has been booted and reinstated before but it didn't turn out as well as I, as a friend, (I think!) had hoped: long story shortand not worth dredging up, he subsequently got Moved On again. That is the nuts and bolts of it, I would love to have him back but he would be gone in a week again if he doesn't watch what he says -- and he knows it but only semi-cares, its all fun for him!!!

Well I am not sure, how beneficial a petition would be in bringing back banned members, most of it is depending on the reason of the ban, and the conversations with the banned member. We have rules in place for a reason, but it doesnt mean people don:t have bad days and dont deserve a second chance.

One rule that the ECF staff must follow as well, is we dont discuss actions against a member in the open forum, so I am afraid that is all I can say on this particual thread topic.

Why did you delete my comments, Imeo? They were my vote. Are you trying to change the vote count? You could also read post #12. Not that this poll really matters, but maybe it should be in a general subforum, where all would see it, and only the admin would be allowed to delete comments.

My vote was also deleted. I vote to temporarily postpone reinstatement pending the perpetrator explicitly recognizing gross malfeasance at which point I would posit approval under protest and duress.
